GENERAL INFORMATION:
Over time, pool tile can accumulate calcium deposits and become unsightly. Additionally, if the pH level of the pool water is too high, a white line can appear at the waterline. Professional pool tile cleaning can easily address both of these issues.
Our goal at Dynamic Pools is to restore your pool tile to its original condition. To begin, we will turn off your filter system and lower the water level of your pool approximately 6 inches below the tile line. This allows us to see and remove all the calcium buildup.
We use a very fine, mineral-based cleaning media that is gentle on your tile but heavy enough to fall to the bottom of the pool. After cleaning, we vacuum the media from the pool, leaving it 99% clean.
In some cases, your pool water may appear cloudy after cleaning, especially if we have cleaned rock surfaces. This is normal and will clear up after a few days of running your filtration system.
It’s important to note that while we can remove existing calcium buildup, we cannot prevent it from returning. The frequency at which it returns depends on the hardness of your water and can be anywhere from 2-5 years. After cleaning, we will refill your pool and leave the area clean and tidy.
Before beginning the cleaning process, we will perform a small test spot to determine if there is any potential for damage to your tile. Our goal is always to provide safe and effective pool tile cleaning services.
ARRIVAL TIME
Dynamic Pools understands that your time is valuable, which is why we will always provide a 2-4 hour window of our approximate arrival time and give you a courtesy call prior to your scheduled pool tile cleaning. While we strive to arrive on time, please note that there may be occasions where we arrive a little earlier or later than scheduled. Rest assured, we will always try to provide a phone call or text message to let you know of any changes to our expected arrival time. To ensure that we can reach you, please provide us with all available phone numbers. You don’t have to be present during our pool tile cleaning service unless you prefer to be.
RESIDUAL MATERIAL
At Dynamic Pools, we offer top-notch pool tile cleaning services to keep your pool or spa in pristine condition. During the cleaning process, you may notice some residual material in small amounts that has settled to the bottom of your pool or spa. However, rest assured that it’s safe for your pool sweep or pool service to vacuum up these remnants, which won’t affect your pump or filter. If your water appears cloudy after cleaning, don’t worry, as it usually clears up within 1-2 days.
Please note that while we always strive to provide the best clean-up possible, you may still notice some residual material on your deck or surrounding plants or grass. Typically, this will blow or wash away within a week. Any residual material in plant and grass areas will dissipate into the soil once the sprinklers turn on. Moreover, our cleaning materials are chemical-free, safe, and non-toxic, meaning they won’t harm your grass, plants, or animals.
WHEN TO ADD WATER
To ensure effective removal of calcium buildup on your pool or spa tiles, Dynamic Pools will lower the water level by six inches to a foot below the tile line. We’ll take care of adding the necessary water right after completing the cleaning process, so you don’t have to worry about it.
POOLS WITH AUTOFILL
Please note that if your auto-fill is on, it may take up to 24 hours for the water level to reach the tile line after our cleaning process. Rest assured that we’ll do everything in our power to minimize any inconvenience and ensure that your pool or spa is in top condition after our visit.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
At Dynamic Pools, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality pool tile cleaning services that exceed your expectations. However, please note that if rain is expected on the day of your scheduled cleaning, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Even if the weather appears clear in the morning, rain later in the day could cause problems with our cleaning materials.
We understand that unexpected changes in your schedule can be frustrating, and we’ll do everything in our power to accommodate your needs. However, please understand that rescheduling may not always be possible for the following day.
EQUIPMENT INSTRUCTIONS
We take great care when cleaning your pool or spa tiles, and this includes ensuring that your pool equipment is turned off and disabled to prevent any accidents or damage. Typically, we place your system into “Service” mode, or turn off the breakers on your pool equipment panel, depending on the equipment type. Additionally, if your pool has a time clock system, we’ll remove the “On” togs and place them on top of or inside the timer box.
Please note that it’s essential to restore your pool equipment back to its original settings after you’ve refilled your pool and water is flowing into the skimmer. It is critical for the proper functioning of your equipment and the safety of anyone using your pool or spa.
PLEASE NOTE: TILE CLEANING DOES NOT PREVENT CALCIUM FROM RETURNING.
DISCLAIMER
We strive to provide the best possible pool tile cleaning services, but there are some limitations to what we can guarantee. While we always make an effort to clean the grout thoroughly, we cannot guarantee that the grout will turn out perfectly. Grout is porous and may be stained deeper than just the surface. Additionally, some calcium deposits may not be removable from the grout.
During our cleaning, artificial surfaces such as artificial rocks may lighten, and some paint or stain may be removed.
Please note that if you’ve ever had a pool chlorine floater that floats freely around your pool, your steps into the pool or spa may be compromised and possibly chip, crack, or delaminate before or after our service. This is a predisposed condition, and we will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs.
We utilize low air pressure during our cleaning, but if tiles fall off during or after our service, this is also a predisposed condition, and we will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs. If grout is deteriorating, some grout may be removed during our cleaning. Ask us about small areas! However, in cases of large areas, we can recommend a professional repair company that can repair loose tiles or deteriorating grout.
